Reflection on EDU456

Assalamualaikum and hello readers. As we have gone through our lesson during week 10, this will be my last blog post for now. For 10 weeks of learning on EDU456, I have learned so much not just in ways of teaching or digital platforms for teachers and educators but so many more.

After all the lessons, I have fully understood that the scope of being an educator is not just heading to class every single day and teaching everything that needed to be taught. A lot of things have to be certain before, during, and after a teaching lesson. This includes types of teaching, platforms for educators, digital apps that help with teaching, and many more.

Learning about the varieties of apps and software that could be used for teaching does open my eyes to how much, we as educators and everyone, could do. Using Canva to make notes and infographics, learning more usage just from Microsoft Word and Excel, and learning on other various programs that we have used throughout what we learn is very fun.

Besides that, a lot of values I have learned are actually from Dr. Azah, our lecturer on EDU456. She showed how much is needed to be an educator. Showing us to always be determined, and happy during teaching. All of the demonstrations and ways from what we learned are always concise and easy for me to understand. I also learned how to make students engage in class discussions.

Overall, this subject helps us, future educators, to be able to use all various apps, platforms, and etc. for teaching and even other purposes.

Thank you and have a very great day to readers. And that is all from me, for now. :)
